Ikea will be opening a new store in the spring of 2017. On October 29, the official groundbreaking ceremony took place at the new construction site. Ikea representatives gave an inspired pep talk and the Mayor of Renton gave a big thumbs up to the project.

Jamie Peha of Table Talk Northwest hosted the panel showcasing four influential women in the community. In the spotlight were Patty Fleischmann, Esther Friend, Whitney Stern and Adisa Ayasa Tassma.
