Event Photographer Capturing Hope & Inspiration for Women

Project Overview: I recently had the honor of serving as the event photographer for the Jubilee Women’s Center annual fundraiser—an unforgettable evening filled with hope, inspiration, and generosity. Hosted at Club Sur in Seattle’s SoDo district, the event featured vibrant live music by Duende Libre and stunning event decor by Tolo Events, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who attended. With auctioneer Matt Lorch expertly energizing the crowd, guests were encouraged to give generously in support of a vital cause.

Supporting Women in Transition Since 1983

Jubilee Women’s Center, founded in 1983, is believed to be Seattle’s first transitional home for women. The Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace played a pivotal role in establishing the center and continue to be active supporters of its mission today.

Jubilee provides more than just a roof over women’s heads—it offers a supportive housing community where women can heal from crisis, domestic violence, and poverty. Their mission is clear:

“Jubilee Women’s Center supports women experiencing poverty to build stable and fulfilling futures—one extraordinary woman at a time.”
