Large-Scale Corporate Event Photography

Location: Amazon Spheres and downtown campus, Seattle WA
Client: Factory 360, New York, NY & Amazon

I was hired to photograph Amazon’s “Bring Your Kids to Work Day”, a large-scale corporate event welcoming more than 15,000 attendees over two exciting days. Working alongside New York–based event production company Factory 360, I captured key moments, immersive experiences, and memorable details from this high-energy family event on Amazon’s downtown Seattle campus, near the iconic Spheres..

The schedule was truly jam-packed with kid-friendly activities designed to engage, inspire, and entertain. Highlights included an outdoor bubble park, hands-on creative stations, author book talks, and “dream career” photo opportunities complete with clever costumes and big imaginations. Kids danced at a silent disco, enjoyed live entertainment, and explored a variety of coding, computer-generated art, and STEM-based activities throughout the campus.

Amazon’s Bring Your Kids to Work Day is thoughtfully designed to deliver an engaging, educational, and seamless experience that reflects the company’s culture of innovation. The event featured a dynamic mix of Amazon business activities, interactive workshops, entertainment, branded photo moments, and hands-on experiences for all ages making it a standout example of large-scale corporate event programming in Seattle.

The Photos look amazing! it was a big big pleasure working with you in Seattle, hope to see you again for another great event in Seattle!.”

Event Photography Shot List & Creative Direction

The client provided a comprehensive shot list to ensure consistent coverage across the event. Key priorities included:

  • Establishing Exteriors- Symmetrical, head-on exterior hero shots with playful styling and angles
  • Playful Details- Thoughtfully styled details using interesting perspectives while keeping scenes in focus
  • Clean Environmental Scenes- Removing extraneous items from the frame whenever possible
  • Materials, Textures, and Color-  Creative approaches to showcasing visual and tactile elements
  • People & Interaction- Capturing positive, happy, and engaged expressions
  • Signage- Photographing neon and branded signage with adjusted lighting
  • Event Branding- Documenting branding at all scales, from small details to large installations

Because the majority of attendees were children, the portfolio below focuses primarily on details, environments, and experiential moments that tell the story of the day while respecting privacy.

This project was a great example of how professional Seattle corporate event photography helps brands document large-scale experiences, highlight thoughtful design, and capture the energy of live events in a meaningful way.

If you’re looking for a seasoned Seattle event photographer to capture the essence of your next conference or event, I’d love to help showcase your event with compelling, high-quality imagery.
