Back at one of my favorite event venues, the Summit Convention Center, I had the opportunity to photograph the Seattle Downtown Association’s ‘State of Downtown’ meeting—a highly anticipated annual event that brings together business leaders, city officials, and innovators to discuss the future of downtown Seattle.
This year’s event was nothing short of spectacular, drawing over 1,000 attendees to the 5th floor of the convention center, where floor-to-ceiling windows provided a breathtaking panoramic view of the Seattle skyline. As the evening progressed, guests were treated to a stunning natural light show, with the setting sun painting the room in warm peach and gold hues—perfect for capturing dynamic, engaging event photography.
Networking buzzed throughout the venue as professionals mingled, exchanged ideas, and strengthened connections. A live band set the tone for a lively and sophisticated atmosphere, adding a vibrant soundtrack to an evening filled with energy and optimism for Seattle’s downtown future.
